90 Days to Liberty – It’s Time for a Spiritual Crusade!

Why Now Is the Time for a Spiritual Crusade

As we were about to enter 2018, I called for a 90-day spiritual crusade to deal the last blow to the culture of death.  Just a few weeks after concluding this 90-day crusade, a seat opened on the Supreme Court. What followed was a historically brutal and grotesque battle for the open seat with pro-life Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh. This would be followed by another open seat on the Supreme Court filled by pro-life Justice Amy Coney Barrett. These two Supreme Court seats filled by these pro-life Justices opened the way, after 49 years, for the over-turning of Roe v. Wade on June 24, 2022.

Now, five years after this spiritual crusade for life, we are encountering a historic level of oppression and tyranny by those who consider themselves as superior. Since the Garden of Eden, Satan has been enticing souls to rise above God; to be superior to God, and to produce their own idea of truth: “…your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil” (Genesis 3:5). In modern parlance, Satan could say, “Your eyes will be opened and will become WOKE.”

In this context, “woke” and “paganism” are synonymous. It is a kind of counter-religion that stands against the truths of Sacred Scripture; against the will of God.

Those who wish to evangelize (indoctrinate) the world into their pagan “woke” religion, know that they must secure the levers of power and influence, in order to succeed. In our times, finding little to no resistance, virtually all levers of power and influence have been captured by this radical pagan counter-religion.

The anti-God pagans now in power have demonstrated their profound lust for control as they have even resorted to dismantling anything that grants the masses any sense of self-sufficiency; any sense of liberty. In their desire to bring us to our knees in submission, those in power would inflict fear and dependency by blowing up the economy, incite domestic terrorism, abuse a virus to induce fear and compliance, entice dependency by government handouts, demoralization of law enforcement, boost the crime rate by granting leniency to criminals, overwhelm the country with millions of illegal aliens, flood the nation with deadly narcotics, and humiliate, cancel, and squash any detractors of their pagan “woke” religion.

So, what are we to do? Do we surrender? Please watch this brief (2:22 minutes) very inspirational interview:

90 Days to Liberty – February 27 – May 28 (Pentecost)

This is what “90 Days to Liberty” is all about. From the very beginning of our nation, we have fought and died for our right to “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” Our previous 90-day spiritual crusade fought for the right to life. This spiritual crusade is a clarion call to all those “Special Forces Prayer Warriors” who seek to join ranks with tens of thousands of others in this “Supernaturally Charged” 90-day crusade to reclaim surrendered ground from our oppressors.

90 Days to Liberty begins on the Monday after Ash Wednesday (February 27) and goes until Pentecost (May 28). Special Forces Prayer Warriors (those who join) will be challenged to enter into a period of “serious” prayer and mortification as we seek a fresh and powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our Church and on our land. “Mortification,” at its essence, means to “die to yourself.” This will be our time to let go of bad and sinful habits and to embrace good and healthy and Godly habits. The research in the behavioral sciences that says 90 days is about the time needed to change from bad habits to good habits. “He must increase, I must decrease.” – St. John the Baptist

Prayer is our outstanding supernatural resource for fighting the wiles of the enemy!

“Prayer is, beyond doubt, the most powerful weapon the Lord gives us to conquer evil … but we must really put ourselves into the prayer, it is not enough just to say the words, it must come from the heart. And also prayer needs to be continuous, we must pray no matter what kind of situation we find ourselves in: the warfare we are engaged in is ongoing, so our prayer must be on-going also.” – St. Alphonsus

You see? Whether it’s a Navy SEAL or a Saint, we admire those who put it all on the line — go “all in!” — those who are totally dedicated to the mission … and God admires them too. Throughout salvation history, we have seen how God responds to this resolute and determined kind of prayer, just as Jesus taught His disciples. It was in Nineveh that the entire city turned back to God and did all that they could, through prayer and fasting, to “demonstrate to” God that they were absolutely resolute in this “turning.” God saw how “serious” they were about this, and He was moved (Jonah 3:3-10). This is yet another story that demonstrates how God – a perfect Father – compels His children to be truly resolute and quite serious when calling out to Him.

The heroes of our faith are the warrior saints who have gone before us. God worked mightily and miraculously through them. Therefore, we must study their ways. How did they remain so well connected, in such strong friendship with God, so that His river of supernatural grace could flow so freely through them? What do these “SEALS for Christ” teach us about the ideal spiritual disciplines, the ultimate daily regimen of prayer?

The following are those top ten ideal and most rock-solid foundational practices of an authentically strong Catholic.

  1. The Morning Offering
  2. Mental Prayer (at least 15 minutes)
  3. Spiritual Reading (at least 15 minutes)
  4. Frequent Confession (at least once a month)
  5. Holy Mass and Communion
  6. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (regularly)
  7. Acts of Mortification (especially fasting)
  8. The Angelus (6 AM, noon, 6 PM)
  9. The Holy Rosary
  10. Brief Examination of Conscience (at night)

Fasting is a way in which the Lord gives the underdog victory!

“Fasting gives birth to prophets and strengthens the powerful; fasting makes lawgivers wise. Fasting is a good safeguard for the soul, a steadfast companion for the body, a weapon for the valiant, and a gymnasium for athletes. Fasting repels temptations, anoints unto piety; it is the comrade of watchfulness and the artificer of chastity. In war it fights bravely, in peace it teaches stillness.” – St. Basil the Great

In our fight for liberty against our oppressors, we are in humanly impossible circumstances. These radical pagan forces of tyranny dominate the government, business, entertainment, education, and mass media. We are like David fighting the Goliath of Oppression. However, “it is easy for many to be overcome by a few; in the sight of Heaven there is no difference between deliverance by many or by a few; for victory in war does not depend upon the size of the army, but on strength that comes from Heaven” (1 Mc 3:18-19; see also 2 Chr 20:3; Est 4:16). Fasting is one of the main ways the Lord gives us strength for victory and freedom from the evil one (Mt 4:1ff). Fasting is a way in which the Lord gives the underdog victory.

This is a sacrificial offering unto God, yes! But it is more. God wants to use us, but if we are half-sick with a poor diet and low energy for anything beyond the day-to-day necessities, we will fail to “strive” for “the more” God is calling us to. We are not abusing our bodies through fasting & mortification, but purifying (detoxing) our bodies, as we work on becoming more and more physically strong!!

Be Ready!!

For these 90 days, feel free to design your own fasting and mortification program, based on your state in life. Any kind of diet and/or exercise program qualifies as fasting and mortification. You decide what God is calling you to do. Just try to challenge yourself, as you work on becoming more healthy; more strong.

Highly Recommended: If you are seeking spiritual and physical strength, please go to BR Coalition.

“The world’s greatest need is great men, someone who will … brave the taunts of a Good Friday to win the joy of Easter Sunday; who will, like a lightning-flash, burn away the bonds of feeble interests which tie down our energies to the world; who, with a fearless voice, like John the Baptist, will arouse our enfeebled nature out of the sleek dream of unheroic repose; who will gain victories, not by stepping down from the Cross and compromising with the world, but who will suffer in order to conquer the world. In a word, what we need are saints, for saints are the truly great men … I assume without further ado that the grace of God is the one thing necessary, and that God will give that grace to those who do His will.” -Venerable Fulton Sheen

Our Daily Prayer for Liberty and for a Holy Spirit Revival

“Free us from every force of oppression, both internally and externally. Grant to our leaders the wisdom to protect and promote our liberties; by your grace may we have the courage to defend them, for ourselves and for all those who live in this blessed land. Heavenly Father, grant a Holy Spirit Revival in our land!” (Based on a prayer by the USCCB)
